AC400 is a part of the newly formed lineup of the standard Artwood series. It comes with a vintage-styled grand concert body styling. BOdy of this model is made of mahogany back and sides and spruce sound board on the top. Abundance o mahogany on this guitar (and every other steel stringer) grants a strong tone with an exceptionally tight low end. It`s a warm and strong tone. To balance it out, luthiers have installed spruce-made sound boards on the top for over a hundred years now. Spruce brings the brightness and snap to the overall mix, thus contributing to a very balanced tone and response. Tortoise binding, abalone rosette and tortoise shell pickguard decorate the top of the body. There are two color options available for this model: Light Violin Sunburst and Dark Violin Sunburst. Both are finished in mixed gloss/satin finish and are fit with chrome hardware. AC400 features no electronics on, or within the body, it`s fully acoustic. Bridge on the top is made of rosewood and features a compensated bone saddle with Advantage pins. Mahogany neck on this model is attached to the body with a standard 14th fret dovetail joint. Rosewood fingerboard on it`s top features 20 frets, dot inlays and 1.75" wide bone nut.
