HM 83 is an intermediate model of the Hofner`s Master built Series of classical guitars. The series is dedicated to the production of the high quality hand made classical instruments. Hofner`s tradition and experience of 125 years is one of the key ingredients of this series. The HM 83 starts off with a flat, solid spruce top and aningre back and sides. The top is bound and finished in satin. The bridge on this guitar is made of rosewood and shaped to a standard for classical guitars. Mahogany neck has a dovetail joint set at 12th fret and rosewood fingerboard which features standard 19 frets with no inlays and 2" wide string nut. Other features on HM 83 include: gold plated hardware, 25-1/2" long scale and classical tuning machines. This model costs around $1,000.
