Roots Collection is one of the major ranges made by Gretsch and the only one which deals with bluegrass/country/Americana instruments. There are five segments within its roster - guitar, banjo, ukulele, resonator, mandolin - each covering the instrument after which it`s named.
G9320 New Yorker Deluxe is one of five currently available Roots mandolins and the second most expensive A-style model Gretsch sells at the moment (MSRP is set at $379). There`s only one available color option - 3-Color sunburst (gloss finish, white binding, tortoise pickguard, chrome hardware).
Main appointments include mahogany/spruce body (laminated back & sides, solid top), mahogany neck (u profile, semi-gloss finish), 20-fret rosewood fingerboard (abalone dot inlays, 1.043" Delrin nut, 13.875" scale), rosewood bridge, and Grover Sta-Tite tuners.
