Roots Collection Acoustic Guitars by Gretsch Guitars
The mandolin section of Gretsch`s Roots Collection is the smallest of five (others are banjo, ukulele, resonator, and guitar) and has only five models. Among them, four are A-style models and one F-style. All are, however, located beneath the $1,000 mark, which makes them universally available.
G9310 New Yorker Supreme is one of four A-style models. It costs $399 (MSRP) and offers solid body panels, fully acoustic construction, simple styling, as well as build quality comparable to much more expensive models. Vintage Mahogany Stain (w/white binding, tortoise pickguard, chrome hardware) is the only available color option.
Main features include an all-mahogany body (back/sides/top), mahogany neck (U-profile, set-in joint), 20-fret rosewood fingerboard (1.043 Delrin nut, 13.875" scale), rosewood bridge, and Grover tuners.
