Breedlove`s catalog is mainly oriented towards steel-stringed acoustics and acoustic-electrics, with nylon-stringed models being barely represented. Discovery series` models are, together with Pursuit, Solod, and Stage models, made in China. All of them are, including the Discovery models, designed and quality controlled in Bend, Oregon. Discovery Concert Satin Bourbon Cylon CE is the series` only nylon-stringed model. It comes with a single-cut concert body, Fishman electronics (Fishman T pickup/preamp combo), and a versatile tone. Main construction features include laminated mahogany back & sides, solid Engelmann spruce soundboard, 14th fret dovetail neck joint, and stock hardware. Breedlove sells this one in Satin Bourbon finish only. Other notable features include a solid okume neck, a 20-fret fingerboard made of ovangkol, an ovangkol bridge, and closed-gear tuners.
