Discovery series is there for all the players who want to start their musical journey on a quality instrument. It is Breedlove`s most affordable series and it is made in China (together with Pursuit, Stage, Stage Exotic, and others). The current lineup has ten models, all ten six-stringed steel-string models. Discovery Concert is the basic model of the Discovery line. It is a fully acoustic concert guitar with a non-cutaway body, 25-1/2" scale, and a pleasant tone. Main construction features include laminated okume back & sides, solid Sitka spruce soundboard, 14th fret dovetail neck joint, and stock hardware. Breedlove makes and sells this one only with Natural Gloss finish. Other important features include an okume neck, 20-fret fingerboard made of ovangkol, ovangkol bridge, and closed-gear tuners.
