Ashton` line of twelve-stringed acoustic guitars currently contains only three models - two dreadnoughts and one narrow-bodied model. SL29/12CEQ is the name of the only narrow-body model and it is available in Wine Red and Tobacco Sunburst. SL29/12CEQ kicks off with a small and single-cut body made of sapele back and sides and spruce sound board on top. Beautiful wooden rosette and creme binding decorate the top. The neck is made of mahogany, it is attached at the 14th fret (the standard for steel-stringed acoustics) and rocks a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. The electronics section features B-Band`s side-mounted T35 preamp with built in chromatic tuner. Other notable features include die-cast tuning machines (plated in chrome) and fixed rosewood bridge with NuBone saddle.
