M 106SWK is a fully acoustic mandolin made by Washburn. It is situated within the dedicated series in Washburn`s acoustic segment of the catalog. This mandolin features A-styled body with set-in neck joint. Vintage is the only color option available for this model and it is finished in matte. This allows for enhanced resonance, as thick gloss finishes tend to choke the vibrations. Back and side panels on this eight-stringer are made of mahogany and the top is made of spruce. Bridge is made of rosewood and it comes with a compensated saddle. Also, it is paired with a trapezoid tailpiece. There are no electronics installed onto this model. Neck is made of maple and it features a standard contour. Fingerboard is made of ebony and it comes with 20 dot-covered frets.
