Tennessee AE is situated within the Folk series made by Dean Guitars. A-styled mandolin is equipped with electronics section, thus becoming an acoustic-electric mandolin. This mandolin comes with back and side panels made of maple and top made of spruce. A standard vintage sunburst color is the only option and it is finished in gloss. Top panel is bound in white binding and it is decorated with an elevated pickguard made of plastic. Top also features a pair of "f" holes placed on at the either side of the bridge. Bridge is made of rosewood and it is paired with a trapezoid tailpiece. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it comes with a set-in joint. Rosewood fingerboard is equipped with 20 frets with dot position inlays.
