This guitar is an acoustic-electric variant of the regular non-cutaway SD20 and it features decent electronics within it`s body. Tone woods used for this dreadnought are: nato, rosewood, mahogany and spruce. A combination oriented towards the deeper and complex tone with nato and mahogany making the base. Nato is used for the back and side panels of the body, while the mahogany is featured on the neck. Body and the neck are connected through a standard 14th fret dovetail joint. Top of the body is made of spruce. All tone woods on this model are laminated for the affordability`s sake. Rosewood on this model has a double role, it is used for the bridge and 20-fret fingerboard. Electronics section is equipped with passive volume and tone controls.
