Coastline series is a line of acoustic and acoustic-electric models from Seagull Guitars and it includes the Coastline Series S6 QI model. Seagull is Canadian brand with subsidiary relationship with Godin Guitars. Seagull plays the role of the budget-friendly acoustics brand. S6 QI is a non-cutaway dreadnought model with dovetail neck joint construction. It`s back and sides are made of cherry wood with spruce top panel. Cherry is somewhat rare choice for a tonewood, but combined with spruce, it gives great results. Top is equipped with gloss finish, black plastic pickguard and multi-ply binding. Bridge section is equipped with belly-shaped rosewood bridge. B-Band electret pickup is matched with Seagull`s own QI preamp. One-piece maple neck is topped with a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard.
