Maritime SWS models are made of solid wood, that is what the SWS badge stands for - Solid Wood Series. As one of the most important and prominent series in Seagull catalog, Maritime is assigned some of the finest materials and appointments Seagull has to offer. Semi-Gloss QI is a dreadnought-shaped guitar with non-cutaway design and Seagull`s own piezo pickup with side-mounted preamp. This one is available only in natural color with semi gloss finish. Tradition is for Seagull guitars to have backs and sides painted with dark stain. Multi-ply binding, tortoise shell pickguard and single circle rosette decorate the top of this acoustic-electric dread. Bridge and fingerboard are made of rosewood and the fingerboard is equipped with 21 medium-sized frets. Neck is made of a single piece of mahogany and the hardware is plated in chrome.
