Collector`s Series offers a line of beautiful, masterfully built acoustic-electric guitars. The soundboard tonewoods come from the same place DW uses to get the tonewoods for their acclaimed Collector`s Series drum kits. Most of the models fall into two types - C2078 (small, offset soundholes, 22-fret fingerboards) and C2079 (conventional soundholes, 20-fret fingerboards). Collector`s Series Deep Contour C2079AXP-WB belongs to the latter group. It offers a deep contour bowl made of composite materials, waterfall bubinga top (w/ivory binding), 5-piece mahogany/maple neck (series standard profile, smooth finish, 14th fret neck joint), 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony (1-11/16" ABS nut, 25-1/4" scale, abalone inlays), ebony bridge, and die-cast tuners. The electronics unit contains an OCP-1K pickup and OP Pro Studio preamp.
