Collector`s Series Deep Contour C20179AXP-MB is one of many exotic tonewood models Ovation offers under the Collector`s Series banner. The entire lineup (this model included) is based on the well-known Lyrachord body with wooden top and composite bowl in the back. Also, shared among the models is the 25-1/4" scale (Ovation`s all-around standard for six-string models). C2079AXP-MB comes in with multicolor bubinga top (w/ivory binding, conventional soundhole with a beautiful rosette), in-house electronics, and gold-plated hardware. Natural (w/gloss finish, ivory binding, abalone inlays) is the only available color option. Other notable features include a 5-piece mahogany/maple neck (14th fret joint, smooth finish), 20-fret ebony fingerboard (1-11/16" nut, 10" radius), ebony bridge, and die-cast tuners.
