PF is a series in Ibanez catalog situated in acoustic-electric section. PF25 is one of it`s basic models. It is a dreadnought-shaped guitar with non-cutaway design. It`s back and sides are made of mahogany, while the top is made of spruce. This top panel is bound in black binding and finished in high gloss finish. Also, it features a large tortoise shell pickguard and vintage triple circle rosette. Bridge section features a rosewood bridge with compensated saddle and modern shape. There are no electronics installed onto this dreadnought, as Ibanez intended it solely for acoustic play. Neck is made of mahogany and it comes with series standard contour. Fingerboard is made of rosewood and it features 20 frets, white dot position inlays, 12" radius and 1.69" wide ivorex II string nut.

i bought my pf (black) in 2004. And have to say it is probably the best guitar money can buy. The quality of sound that comes off is heavenly and runs through your whole body. I have played it in pubs over the years and it has been knocked around sum and obviously is starting to lose a bit of its heavenly touch, so i am going to buy a new one (: . I can say that i would never buy another guitar but the PF as i have played with many players in pubs and sat next to guys with thousand pound guitars, only to be constantly asked if they can have a go on mine. If you like your sounds to be heard and want to be that little bit louder than the rest! this is the guitar to buy. if you want that sound to send people to sleep this is the guitar! 5 star from me! cant wait to buy my next :)
