DT100 Cutaway is situated within the Daytripper series in acoustic section of Ibanez catalog. It comes with a dreadnought-shaped body with single cutaway design. Cutaway is Florentine, a feature not as frequent as Venetian cutaway, though some manufacturers prefer it for their cutaway acoustics. Back and side panels on this model are made of mahogany, while the top is made of spruce. Top panel features high gloss finish, black binding and tortoise shell pickguard. The sound hole is equipped with a vintage triple circle rosette. Belly shaped bridge is made of rosewood and it is equipped with a compensated saddle. Electronics section is equipped with a combo of Ibanez under-saddle pickup and Ibanez AEQ200T preamp. Mahogany neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard. 20 are covered with dot position inlays.
