Kingpin is a vintage-styled hollow-bodied guitar. It comes with LP-shaped single cutaway body made of Canadian wild cherry back and sides with a spruce top. The top is arched, carved with a pair of "f" holes and topped with an elevated pickguard. This model features a TUSQ bridge with a trapezoid tailpiece. In the pickups area, 5th Avenue Kingpin comes with a pair of P-90 pickups with dog-ear casings. These pickups offer a vintage sound with just enough bite for modern types of music. They are controlled with master volume and master tone knobs with a three-way toggle pickup switch. Neck is made of maple, and it comes with '50s contour and set-in joint. Rosewood fingerboard features 21 frets, clay dot inlays and 1.72" wide string nut.

Im a 47 year old oilfield worker native to North Dakota. I love the blues and am buying this guitar to learn how to play. I like it because I dont need an amp and can go there later and get the sounds Im looking for. My wife is learning the harmonica. Sitting next to a fire at lake home growing old slowly doing what brings us joy! Thanks

I love the look of mine, it has a good set up out of the case. Played acoustically it is thin and not really very nice, but there is a thin chambered box under the strings. Through an amp is where it works for me, p 90 s allow for anything from smooth warmth to gritty grunge. Really much more than a jazz guitar.
