Tobacco Sunburst
GL-J2e is a part of the brand new Tombstone series of acoustic-electric guitars. It was introduced by ESP Guitars at this year`s NAMM show in Anaheim, Ca. GL-J2E is the most exclusive of seven acoustic-electric six-stringers which make up the initial lineup of the Tombstone line. It comes with the traditional western styling and construction. Appointments such as horn-shaped bridge with pearloid inlays and the horned cow skull inlay at the 12th fret only add up to the overall wild west image of this magnificent series. Tombstone`s main six-shooter comes with a classic non-cutaway jumbo-shaped body with a deep contour and classic construction. Back and sides are made of flamed maple, while the top is made of solid Sitka spruce. Tobacco Sunburst fits perfectly with the overall theme of this model and the entire series, giving it even more authenticity. The rosewood bridge is fashioned in style of ram`s horns and features a bone saddle, as well as a pair of pearloid inlays to accentuate the horns. The electronics section features the fantastic Fishman Sonicore pickup in the bridge and Presys+ preamp with an on-board tuner on the side. Five-piece maple/walnut neck is fit with a comfortable and substantial C profile in the back, as well as a traditional 14th fret dovetail joint. On it`s top, ESP installs a bound rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, 1.69" wide bone nut and 9.84" radius. Cow skull inlay at the 12th fret adds the final touch to the whole wild west theme.
