Performer Ultra is one of the most luxurious models in the Performer line. This series is the corner stone of Dean`s acoustic division and it competes mostly within the budget-friendly and affordable categories. Next to Ultra, two more models were introduced into the series this January at the NAMM show. Performer Ultra is a single-cut guitar with acoustic-electric construction. It`s body sports the grand auditorium contour. It is not as big as jumbo and dread, but it`s not too mall, either. It is an intermediate-sized guitar with substantial depth and strong tone. There are three color schemes available for this model: Natural, Trans Blue and Tiger Eye. All of them come finished in high gloss. Bridge section features an ebony bridge with standard Performer contour. Electronics are made and supplied by B-Band. This model features an A3TY preamp with tuner, also made by B-Band. Performer Ultra`s electronics are USB upgradeable. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it features a comfortable slim C contour in the back. On the top, there`s an ebony fingerboard with standard set of 20 frets. V inlays mark the frets on this fingerboard.
