AA13 is a model from the AA series in the Applause catalog. Applause is Ovation`s subsidiary brand, which deals with the budget-friendly guitars, mostly acoustic-electric. This particular model comes with a single-cut dreadnought contour and it`s made of composite bowl in the back with spruce sound board on top. Composite bowl replaces the standard back and side panels, it is a more modern, and also more comfortable solution. Top panel on this model is available only in natural color with high gloss finish. Creme binding is accompanied by a regular Ovation/Applause rosette for standard central sound holes. Bridge is made of rosewood and it sports a standard contour. Neck is made of maple, it`s set-in and topped with a 20-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
