Ruby Red
AE 128 is a model from the AE series in the Applause catalog. As a subsidiary brand to Ovation, Applause concentrates on the budget-friendly portions of the market, offering models visually and construction-wise similar to ovation. AE 128 is a single-cut dreadnought guitar with composite bowl instead of classic back and side panels. Top is made of spruce and it`s equipped with creme binding and standard rosette for models with regular central sound hole. Top panel comes painted in Ruby Red color scheme and finished in high gloss. Piezo pickup is mounted under the saddle of the bridge and it`s accompanied by a side-mounted preamp. Neck is made of maple, it`s standard-contoured and set-in. 20-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood.
