Artist series is one of four standard ranges featured in Alvarez`s catalog. It is positioned above the Regent series (which acts as the beginner line), and below the Masterworks and Yairi series. Artist lineup is made of nylon and steel-string models, which come in both acoustic and acoustic-electric variants. AC65HCE is a special nylon-stringer. It offers the standard cutaway classical concept, but with modern electronics and 22-fret fingerboard. Unlike the majority of traditional nylon-stringers, HCE has a 1-7/8" nut and 14th fret neck joint. Natural (w/gloss finish, chrome hardware, black binding) is the only available color option. AC65HCE also features laminated mahogany back & sides, solid Western red cedar top, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, rosewood bridge, classical tuners, and LR Baggs electronics.
