Yamaha`s Hollow Body series is made up of vintage-styled guitars with '50s and '60s vibe. AES1500 is one of the intermediate models of the series, along with other two 1500 models. body of this archtop jazz guitar is made of maple back and sides and sycamore top. Maple is the most common tonewood for jazz guitars, as it gives brightness to the tone and is also a strong and durable wood. Top is carved with two "f" holes, bound in several layers of binding and covered with an elevated pickguard. Two piece bridge section is made up of a tune-o-matic bridge and a stoptail bar. DiMarzio Q-100 humbuckers are featured in the pickups department. Set in neck is made of a single piece of maple and it is topped with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard.
