Banshee is one of the more recent additions to already super versatile Schecter catalog. The main aim and purpose of this series is to offer intermediate and upper intermediate options for the fans of the classic 1980s Superstrat/Soloist concept. Simple construction, simple styling and razor-sharp tone. Bonus feature: Schecter`s unbelievable playability. 2014 variant of the Banshee 6 FR Passive model comes with a solid and double-cut alder body. On it`s top, quilted maple cap is featured. Second only to mahogany/maple top, alder/maple combination is featured on hundreds upon hundreds of models across the market. Body of this model is bound in natural binding and finished in gloss. The only color scheme is Faded Vintage Sunburst, which is contrasted with black chrome plated hardware. Floyd Rose 1000 Series bridge is installed on the top. As the model`s name indicates, this bridge is fit with six saddles and rocks the smooth black chrome plating. Seymour Duncan`s Nazgul humbuckers give this six-stringer enough power to cut through Earth`s core and blast into outer space, if need arises. Nazguls are Duncan`s answer to other brutal passive humbuckers on the market. Master volume, master tone (push/pull switch) and a three-position blade switch complete the controls unit. Maple neck is bolted to the body and is fit with a supremely fast and comfortable back contour. 24-fret ebony fingerboard on it`s top is fit with extra jumbo frets, offset dot inlays and compound 12-16" radius. Grover tuners on the headstock complete the specs list. Schecter sells this one for $1,1189.
