370 concept is very similar to the legendary 360 and it features only one noticeable difference. Instead of 360`s standard two single-coil pickups, 370 comes with an extended pack of three pickups. All three are single-coiled and made by Rickenbacker. These high-gain pickups have standard stereo output. They`re controlled through the standard Rickenbacker set of knobs and switches. Behind the pickups, Rickenbacker installs the series standard two-piece bridge unit. Both parts are plated in chrome and the tailpiece is decorated with a big "R". Body of this magnificent six-stringer is fully hollow and it`s made of maple. It features the classic double-cut design. It is paired with a standard set in maple neck. 24-fret fingerboard on this model is made of rosewood.

I plan to keep my Ric 340, but am in the market for a 370, which is, in my opinion, virtually the same as the 340 in terms of electronics, sound, quality of materials, and craftsmanship, but is more comfortable to play. I doubt that springing for a commemorative Roger McGuinn instrument would make any noticeable sonic improvement to the standard 370. Both feature the dual Rick-o-Sound Jack, which allows the guitar to send signal simultaneously to two separate amps or used with a stereo amp like the VOX AD120.
