Chris Broderick of Megadeth and Jackson Guitars are back in the business again. And, the result is a pair of killer axes for 2016. One is a standard six-string and the other is a seven-string option. They`re practically the same, featuring offset Soloist bodies, neck-through-body construction, 25-1/2" scales, exclusive hardware and custom-designed electronics. Add the build and playing qualities of Jackson`s USA range and you`ve got yourself a pair of solid-bodied jewels. USA Signature Chris Broderick Soloist HT7 is the seven-stringed half of this pair of evil twins (there`s no nice guys among these monsters). USA Signature Chris Broderick Soloist HT7 kicks off with a super solid base. Its body is made of mahogany back and quilt maple top (quilt top is available on selected finishes), which is one of the classic and most heavily used combos in Jackson catalog. One-piece maple neck sports the ubiquitous Speed profile in the back and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard on top (jumbo frets, 1-11/16" nut and compound radius). DiMarzio humbuckers, custom designed by Chris himself, come with a small but utterly versatile controls unit (master volume with coil-split switch, master tone with tone circuit on/off switch, classic killswitch and three way toggle selector). A bridge with completely independent saddles and Planet Waves tuners complete the jaw-dropping list of major features.
