In 2016, Ibanez will charge the market of vintage, relic`d and worn guitars. It will be a two-pronged attack, led by Artcore Vintage and Artstar Vintage series. Both of them are newly established lines with four and two models, respectively. All of them were made to prove that an aged guitar doesn`t have to be expensive as hell, that it can be both a high quality instrument and a reasonable investment. AMV10A is one of four Artcore Vintage models. It comes equipped with a bulk of standard features, such as set-in neck, passive Ibanez electronics and a short 24-7/10 scale. AMV10A kicks off with an all-maple body, meaning that back, sides as well as the carved top are made of plain maple. Mahogany neck with Artcore profile in the back and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on top (1-11/16" nut, 12" radius, block inlays, medium frets), is glued in at the 19th fret. Bridge and neck pickup positions are reserved for series standard Ibanez Classic Elite humbuckers with brushed covers and a standard controls unit (volume/volume/tone/tone/3-way toggle switch). Two-piece hardtail bridge (ART-1 bridge/Quick Change III tail) and deluxe tuners wrap the list of major features.
