XT segment of the Hamer Guitars catalog is made up of several series of affordable electric guitars. One of the series featured in this segment is Californian. It offers double-cut guitars with solid bodies and Soloist/RG-like design. Basic model of the series is named Californian, just like the series and it offers a flat-top body made of maple. Black is the only color scheme for this workhorse metal axe. It is finished in gloss and features ivoroid binding around the top. Hardware is plated in black. Floyd Rose bridge is installed on the top of the body and it is fronted by EMG H4 humbuckers. These come with series standard controls. Maple neck on this model is topped with a standard 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
