True Historic 1956 Les Paul Goldtop Reissue by Gibson Custom
Vintage Antique Gold

1952 Les Paul Standard Goldtop was the first serial production Les Paul ever (though LPs didn`t feature serial numbers until late 1953). It established many of LP conventions and traditions, including the unmistakable Goldtop Finish against natural-colored back and neck. 1956 model was the last Standard Goldtop with P-90 pickups. True Historic 1956 Les Paul Goldtop Reissue is a painstaking recreation of the last single-coiled Goldtop (1957 model rolled out with the first generation of Seth Lover`s "Patent Applied For" dual-coils). Due to the True Historic status of this model, Gibson Custom`s luthiers cranked their game all the way to eleven. Main features of this gorgeous rocker include solid one-piece mahogany body, plain maple top (double-carved), double-carved neck, reissue P-90 pickups, one-piece rosewood fingerboard and nickel-plated hardware.
