Mark Knopfler 1958 Les Paul Standard is a near-perfect replica of Mark`s original `58 LP, and one of the best remake models in history of Gibson Custom (counting both signature and non-signature models). The beauty starts at rather relaxed $5,099 (Custom models can easily cost over $10,000) and comes in famous Knopfler `Burst.
Main features and appointments include a one-piece mahogany body (hand-selected, lightweight), two-piece maple top (bound in creme), one-piece mahogany neck (identical to the one on Mark`s guitar), one-piece Indian rosewood fingerboard, Custom Bucker PAF-styled pickups and nickel-plated hardware.
