Flying V is one of the most iconic guitars ever, the epitome of hard and heavy music. With every detail subjected to one goal, the ultimate playability, Flying V remains the hottest thing in town even six decades after its introduction. Gibson Custom`s Flying V Standard is one of two V models in current production. As opposed to the Custom, Standard incorporates many of the visual cues and hardware appointments usually associated with Les Paul. These include dual volume and tone knobs, TOM/stoptail bridge and Green Key tuners, among others. Ice Tea Burst and Washed Cherry color variants are also shared with current Standard Historic LP models. One-piece mahogany body, bookmatched flame maple top, one-piece mahogany neck, one-piece rosewood fingerboard and custom-wound humbucker pickups are also featured on this splendid V.
