1954 Les Paul Goldtop VOS is one of the finest replicas made by Gibson Custom. It is dedicated to the 1954 Goldtop model and it features Vintage Original Specs treatment. It comes with a solid, single cut body made of mahogany back and plain maple top. Back in the 1950s Gibson used plain maple tops for LP models. Today, as part of the VOS treatment, Gibson Custom reintroduces them. Top is painted in classic Goldtop scheme with high gloss finish. Bridge section is equipped with a stoptail bar without a tune-o-matic bridge in the front. Pair of mighty P-90 single coil pickups is installed on this model. They are controlled through a standard controls unit. Set mahogany neck is fit with '50s contour and topped with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard.
