Monterey Elite Limited is a model from the Fernandes Monterey series. It comes with a solid, single-cut body made entirely of mahogany. Together with the mahogany neck, it guarantees a strong and potent tone with a growling low end. There is no maple cap on this model, as it is usual for the upscale Montereys. Seymour Duncan`s SH-4JB is installed in the bridge, while the Fernandes Sustainer is in the neck position. Combined with the all-mahogany construction, these pickups are every classic metalhead`s dream come true. Set in neck construction, two-piece bridge, 24-3/4" scale, 22-fret ebony fingerboard with abalone binding, gold-plated hardware and simple controls unit complete the specs list for this outstanding six-string axe. The only major flaw of this model is that it comes with limited number of copies.
