Being a left handed model means 2012 American Vintage '65 Stratocaster Left Handed follows in the exact footsteps of it`s right-handed counterpart. Fender has always taken good care of left-handed players offering them a wide variety of models and options to chose from. Furthermore, being a left-handed variant signifies this model comes with all the goodies right models has. This includes special pickups. This particular model is a solid-bodied double cutaway guitar made of alder wood. Entire body is made of alder and it`s top is flat. Also, it features no binding or top wood veneers. White plastic pickguard has double protective purpose, it guards the body from the pick scratches and it shields the electronics from the elements. Bridge is a seris-standard American Vintage synchronized tremolo. All features of this bridge exhibited on the right handed variant apply here. Pickups department is also identical to the one found on the right-handed '65 Strat. They are New American Vintage '65 Grey Bottom Strat® single-coils with master volume, two tone knobs and a five-position blade switch. Maple neck is made with mid '60s C contour, bolted joint and it`s topped with a 21-fret rosewood-made fingerboard. 7.25" radius and 1.65" wide bone nut complete the fingerboard along with white dot inlays.
