ST series belongs to the LTD Distressed range in the ESP/LTD catalog. It`s mission is to offer the players affordable six and seven-stringers with a smart mix of vintage styling and modern tone. ST-213 Ash Maple is one of seven models introduced for 2014 and it is also one of three models with a swamp ash body, instead of the series standard alder. Solid and double-cut body follows the classic Strat line, but also incorporates details characteristic of ESP/LTD brands. Intermediate thickness, super deep cutaway and classic bolt-on neck joint are the main features of ST-213 Ash Maple`s body. Burnt Orange, Natural Gloss and See Thru Blue comprise the color palette for this intermediate Strat six-stringer. All three are finished in thin layer of gloss lacquer and fit with the standard chrome-plated hardware. Synchronized tremolo bridge with string-through construction is fronted with a pack of three LTD LS-120 pickups. These passive single-coils are controlled with one volume knob, two tone knobs and a five-way blade switch. Super thin maple neck is fit with a 22-fret maple fingerboard on top. 22 extra jumbo frets, 13.77" radius and black dot inlays are also featured on the fingerboard.
