SN is a brand new series in LTD section of the catalog. It features the classic Superstrat six-stringers inspired by the 80s classics. It was introduced at 2015 Summer NAMM show in Nashville, Tennessee. LTD SN-1000FR is a vintage Superstrat with a solid and double-cut body made of basswood back and flamed maple top (Charcoal Metallic version comes with an alder body, no maple top). Aqua Marine and Copper Burst variants come with white binding around the top. All versions, however, have bolt-on maple necks with thin U profiles in the back. Aqua Marine model has a 24-fret maple fingerboard, while the Copper Sunburst and Charcoal Metallic feature rosewood fingerboards. All fingerboards have extra jumbo frets, abalone dot inlays, 13.77" radius and 1.65" locking nuts. In the pickups department ESP offers two options - EMG 85/SA/SA (Aqua Marine and Copper Burst) and a pair of Fishman Fluence humbuckers (reserved for Charcoal Metallic). Both configurations have the same controls - master volume, master tone and a five-position blade switch. Floyd Rose bridge behind the pickups and Grover tuners on the headstock make sure SN-1000FR stays in tune even after relentless whammy bar abuse.
