Dean ML Noir XT is made for young metalheads out there who prefer extreme guitar body shapes and black color. ML Noir XT comes with a standard ML body made of basswood. It`s paired with a maple neck and it`s flat on top. There is no binding, nor Dean installs a top wood cover. This one`s stripped down mostly due to the price class it belongs in. Bridge section, however demonstrates that this ML is a high performance guitar. Bridge is a double-locking Floyd Rose bridge. In it`s front Dean installs a set of two passive humbuckers. Standard mahogany neck has the V contour in the back, but it features a bolt-on joint, instead of the set-in. 22-fret rosewood fingerboard is installed on the top.
