Sunset is a brand new series in Cort catalog, and it is in charge of representing semi-hollow bodied models tailored after Les Paul and ES models of the past. Sunset I as the first model in the series starts off with a chambered mahogany body with a maple top. This LP styled single cutaway model comes in candy apple red color with high gloss finish and white binding. The bridge compartment consists of a tune-o-matic bridge with Bigsby 850 Vibrato combo. It gives even more of a vintage feel to this already traditionally shaped instrument. The pickups on this model are TV Jones Classic Plus humbucker in the bridge and TV Jones Classic humbucker in the neck position. They are controlled through master volume and master tone knobs. Controls department is completed with a three-way toggle switch. The neck on Sunset I is made of mahogany and features a set-in joint. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and has 22 large frets, rectangular pearl inlays and 12" radius. Other features on this model include: white plastic pickguard, 24-3/4" scale in style of Les Paul and ES models, Grover tuning machines and chrome plated hardware.
