JR V7 by B.C. Rich
Trans Purple

JR V7 is one of the finest V-shaped seven-stringers out there. It features the classic V body, 25-1/2" scale, neck-through-construction, 24-fret fingerboard and B. C. Rich pickups. It is a part of the V series, one of the few lines based on popular designs from Fender and Gibson. V7 comes with mahogany wings attached to the maple neck. This combination of woods is pretty common on B. C. Rich models with neck-through construction. Trans Purple is the only color option available for this model and it features the quilted maple top. Double-locking Floyd Rose bridge is installed on the top. B. C. Rich BSDM pickups are featured in the electronics department. Maple neck is fast, comfortable and it`s topped with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard.

The 7-String JR V 7 TP with licensed Floyd Rose Tremolo is a good guitar to enter 7-string playing with floating tremolo. When I played it first time I wasn't really happy. The nut on my guitar was too low so i had to raise it. No big deal but: If you don't know about adjusting the neck leave to a service man. meanwhile i mounted a Big Block on the Floaing bridge but stock it is even very good because almost no Floyd Rose comes stock with a big brass block. But it's a overall great guitar for any rock style where a Gibson Flying V or Gibson Les Paul would be first choice. The well-balanced sound is great for any style of playing. from clean arpeggios and jazz sounds to bluesy overdrive to rock and high gain metal. It's shape invites first to metal playing. the low B string makes drop tunings less necessary for many heavy metal tunes. JR V 7 rocks!
