It feels that B.C. Rich could have done better with Exotic Warlock, but still, this is a useful musical instrument. You should really give Exotic Warlock a chance if you feel that this is a right instrument for you in this moment in time.

B.C. Rich could throw in a bit more features into Exotic Warlock but this guitar is definitely a usable musical instrument. Whether it's the price cut, or B.C. Rich felt that simplicity is a good way to go, Exotic Warlock is built with a limited set of features, so one needs see if it fits the need. Not the best equipped instrument, but Exotic Warlock will do well for some musicians.

If you try playing Exotic Warlock after an average guitar, it becomes obvious that this B.C. Rich deserves to be proud of making it sound so beautifully. It delivers great tone when plugged in to most amps and, versatile as it is, it will allow you to find your own tone that you will be proud of as well. B.C. Rich's Exotic Warlock is surely a world class sounding instrument.

You could find a better fitted guitar, but Exotic Warlock is ready to be played by any musician willing to take time and adjust it to his/her needs. B.C. Rich built a guitar that has nice finish but it lacks something that would make it feel even better. Guitar stays in tune reasonably well, if you don't force it too much, and the Exotic Warlock's neck is playable.

If you're happy with B.C. Rich's Exotic Warlock overall performance and characteristics, you can consider it to be a replacement guitar for your gigs. Even if used as only guitar Exotic Warlock will perform, but don't overrate it and always try and find a backup. It is a solid guitar that will last long and perform well if you treat it right.
