Jazz Series Electric Guitar by 'Washburn'

Share this:
J600 by Washburn
Washburn Guitars are known for their acoustic and hollow bodied guitars. The jazz series is no exception with J600 being it`s second most expensive model. J600 has an L5S shape with a venetian cutaway, white binding and arched top. It is made of spruce top and flamed maple back and sides. Two white bound "f" hole are placed on either side of the fixed ebony bridge which is paired with a trapezoid tailpiece. Amplification duties are entrusted to a minibucker pickup in the bridge position. Maple neck has a rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets and mother of pearl block inlays. Distressed brass hardware, dark brown pickguard and Grover tuners complete the list of major features for J600. This model is available in dark brown sunburst color. MSRP is set at $1247.

vinlander

I would have expected they would not have drilled the top for controls when they put a floating pickup...

We know about the 18:1 tuners big deal, what about the scale 24 3/4 or 25.5 ? How about the size of the body ? 16 inches, 17 inches ?

I have not tried the gitar so difficult to really give an impression

quality is what you pay for usually but plywood for plywood guitar but the thin satin vintage finish is definitaly a plus

Nice looking and has potential provided we would know more about relevant specs
