Following review text is verbal representation of numerical rating information:
Schecter made a PT-Standard, a guitar that both performs and sounds well. It's a nice instrument that deserves your attention and you should definitely test it to see if it's right instrument for you. Lots of musicians feel that this instrument is valued fairly and it suits their needs, so you should definitely investigate PT-Standard.
Schecter went really far in carefully choosing PT-Standard's features. There's little to be wished for, which makes PT-Standard a full-featured guitar for a musician that plays a music style this instrument is primarily built for. If you decide to go for Schecter's PT-Standard you will be happy with its, safe to say - rich features. A job well-done by PT-Standard.
Tone delivered by Schecter's PT-Standard makes it a serious sounding instrument that gives Schecter a lot of reasons to be proud of it. Somewhat limited when playing certain music styles doesn't mean that PT-Standard will make your tone to sound poor, quite the opposite, because PT-Standard provides rich and versatile tone that you'll be happy with.
Schecter did a good job. PT-Standard is built well, the finish feels just right, the hardware is solid. While playing for a longer periods of time you can expect PT-Standard to stay in tune and you will be pleased while playing, because the neck is extremely comfortable. You might find that over time metal parts will oxidize a bit, but that's normal and nothing to worry about. Schecter did a really good job with PT-Standard guitar.
If you need an instrument that withstands live performances and studio sessions, rehearsals and practicing, you should rest assured that Schecter's PT-Standard is the right choice. This instrument is definitely built to last and will do so , through fire and flames. Schecter has the knowledge and experience you can rely on, and that kind of experience is well built into PT-Standard.
