LE422 is a good guitar. Slight disproportions in price vs. quality/features should never stop you from trying this guitar. Laguna did put a lot of effort into this instrument and it deserves to be tested. If you find that it suits your playing style, go for it - you won't be sorry.

Carefully chosen set of features makes Laguna's LE422 a really good guitar. Some might say that it lacks some of the features, but LE422's features still fulfill an average musician's needs. You won't be wrong to go for this axe 'cause it has a wide array of different sounds and a lot of possibilities for tweaking the sound to make it yours. Getting one of Laguna's LE422 is a way to go.

Not the best sounding guitar, Laguna's LE422 is still usable for not so much demanding musicians, for its tone is not the best in its class. LE422 could sound better if you take the time and pair it with a good amp while fiddling with settings. Once you find the right tone it can be played without noticing some obvious weak spots.

Another reliable model from Laguna brings us to a guitar that handles well and plays well. Finish doesn't feel bad at all, and the hardware is good. It stays in tune for most of the time, so if you take the time to adjust the action & pickups the way you want them, you will feel comfortable while playing LE422.

This is a solidly built guitar that will play well live and in studio. It does provide a fair amount of confidence, and it can serve well both as a replacement and a first choice guitar for gigs and rehearsals. Laguna feels confident in its LE422 and it will serve you well in most situations. Durability and reliability are evenly balanced with this instrument.
