Italia's Modena Standard is fairly good guitar. Not a brilliant one, but Modena Standard will serve you until you decide it's time to go for a bit more expensive guitar. You will not go wrong if you go ahead with Modena Standard.

Some say that the average is golden, and maybe that is true for Italia's Modena Standard as well. There are musicians who would like to see more features on Modena Standard, but Italia felt that Modena Standard provides enough features for a given price and the market that Italia aims for. Perhaps there are better equipped guitars then this one, but Modena Standard will deliver what it's built for.

Another great sounding guitar from Italia such as Modena Standard surely stands shoulder to shoulder with its previous models, and with top guitar models from other musical instruments manufacturers as well. Plugged into most amplifiers, this guitar will deliver the kind of tone you'd expect from a high class instrument. Hardware setup that requires no effort to adjust will have you playing your tone in no time.

It seems that Italia didn't put in too much effort into producing a guitar like Modena Standard. Finish feels a bit cheap if you look closely, and the instrument did not look very promising while held and played. As with any other guitar, you have to take some time to get used to it, and it may seem that that period of getting yourself comfortable with new instrument is a bit longer with Modena Standard.

If you're happy with Italia's Modena Standard overall performance and characteristics, you can consider it to be a replacement guitar for your gigs. Even if used as only guitar Modena Standard will perform, but don't overrate it and always try and find a backup. It is a solid guitar that will last long and perform well if you treat it right.
