Not a very good choice, Ibanez didn't hit the target with SA2160FM. A lots of features missing or not done the way most musicians would like, and the price is not attracting people to buy this guitar either.

Ibanez could throw in a bit more features into SA2160FM but this guitar is definitely a usable musical instrument. Whether it's the price cut, or Ibanez felt that simplicity is a good way to go, SA2160FM is built with a limited set of features, so one needs see if it fits the need. Not the best equipped instrument, but SA2160FM will do well for some musicians.

You could find a better fitted guitar, but SA2160FM is ready to be played by any musician willing to take time and adjust it to his/her needs. Ibanez built a guitar that has nice finish but it lacks something that would make it feel even better. Guitar stays in tune reasonably well, if you don't force it too much, and the SA2160FM's neck is playable.

If you're happy with Ibanez's SA2160FM overall performance and characteristics, you can consider it to be a replacement guitar for your gigs. Even if used as only guitar SA2160FM will perform, but don't overrate it and always try and find a backup. It is a solid guitar that will last long and perform well if you treat it right.
