Vulcan Deluxe is the intermediate out of three models which make up the brand new Vulcan series. Other two are Vulcan X as the entry level option and Vulcan Elite JP as the series flagship. Vulcan line is a result of the Vertigo`s redesign and face-lifting to suit an army of young and ever more demanding metal guitarists. Vulcan Deluxe starts off with a solid, double cutaway body made of mahogany. This Deluxe class model features a flat top with beveled edges, and no binding or pickguards. Color options for this model are black and snow white, both with glossy finish. The bridge is a tune-o-matic with a stoptail bar, the same as on Vulcan X. This bridge features chrome plating. The pickup department is significantly upgraded when compare to Vulcan X, it contains active EMG81 humbucker in the bridge and active EMG60 humbucker in the neck position. Controls are still simple and made up of master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle switch. The neck is made of maple and features a set-in joint. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and sports 24 jumbo frets, split trapezoid inlays, 14" radius and Graphtech tremolo nut. 25-1/2" scale, die-cast tuners and chrome-plated hardware wrap the story up for Vulcan Deluxe.
