Mark IV Custom is a good guitar. Slight disproportions in price vs. quality/features should never stop you from trying this guitar. Breedlove did put a lot of effort into this instrument and it deserves to be tested. If you find that it suits your playing style, go for it - you won't be sorry.

Breedlove didn't go over the top with a set of features that make the Mark IV Custom what it is: a guitar that will do the job, but won't thrill you with its limited features. However, it won't let you down if you feel you can get along with what's provided. You can try and search for better solutions, but still, Breedlove's Mark IV Custom will deliver what you need in most situations.

Breedlove did a good job. Mark IV Custom is built well, the finish feels just right, the hardware is solid. While playing for a longer periods of time you can expect Mark IV Custom to stay in tune and you will be pleased while playing, because the neck is extremely comfortable. You might find that over time metal parts will oxidize a bit, but that's normal and nothing to worry about. Breedlove did a really good job with Mark IV Custom guitar.

This is a solidly built guitar that will play well live and in studio. It does provide a fair amount of confidence, and it can serve well both as a replacement and a first choice guitar for gigs and rehearsals. Breedlove feels confident in its Mark IV Custom and it will serve you well in most situations. Durability and reliability are evenly balanced with this instrument.
