It feels that Breedlove could have done better with Mark I Synergy Custom, but still, this is a useful musical instrument. You should really give Mark I Synergy Custom a chance if you feel that this is a right instrument for you in this moment in time.

Some say that the average is golden, and maybe that is true for Breedlove's Mark I Synergy Custom as well. There are musicians who would like to see more features on Mark I Synergy Custom, but Breedlove felt that Mark I Synergy Custom provides enough features for a given price and the market that Breedlove aims for. Perhaps there are better equipped guitars then this one, but Mark I Synergy Custom will deliver what it's built for.

Tone delivered by Breedlove's Mark I Synergy Custom makes it a serious sounding instrument that gives Breedlove a lot of reasons to be proud of it. Somewhat limited when playing certain music styles doesn't mean that Mark I Synergy Custom will make your tone to sound poor, quite the opposite, because Mark I Synergy Custom provides rich and versatile tone that you'll be happy with.

You could find a better fitted guitar, but Mark I Synergy Custom is ready to be played by any musician willing to take time and adjust it to his/her needs. Breedlove built a guitar that has nice finish but it lacks something that would make it feel even better. Guitar stays in tune reasonably well, if you don't force it too much, and the Mark I Synergy Custom's neck is playable.

If you're happy with Breedlove's Mark I Synergy Custom overall performance and characteristics, you can consider it to be a replacement guitar for your gigs. Even if used as only guitar Mark I Synergy Custom will perform, but don't overrate it and always try and find a backup. It is a solid guitar that will last long and perform well if you treat it right.
