B40 is a solid-bodied bass from Carvin, and it comes with a double cutaway body made of alder. Basic variant of this bass features a flat top with no pickguards. Optionally, decorative top wood cover can be added. In the bridge section, Carvin installs one of their own bass bridges with string-through-body construction and chrome plating.
