Hofner`s Classic series offers student-oriented classical guitars. All models are hand-made in Hagenau, Germany and from there shipped around the world. The current lineup has nine models - six with spruce tops and three with cedar tops. All models have laminated backs and sides, with solid tops. Also, all nine feature electronics-free construction. Classic Series HZ27 is one of three "cedar" models. It comes with a full-sized classical body, 12th fret dovetail neck joint, vintage styling, stock hardware, and the standard 25-3/5" scale. Main tonewood and hardware appointments include laminated rosewood back & sides, solid cedar soundboard w/Hofner standard bracing, solid mahogany neck w/gloss finish & classical profile, 19-fret fingerboard w/flat radius, fixed rosewood bridge, and classical tuners. Natural is the only available color option.
